After a Fragpunk patch — what to do before you load
Patch day checklist: status label, loader version, and why old configs sometimes break.
Stop at Updating
If the product page says Updating, do not load. Wait for a rechecked build — forcing the menu is how support tickets start.
When the label clears
Follow the complete setup thread in the forum archive: one game instance, one load, menu key from your delivery note. Revisit antivirus exclusions if Defender updated with Windows.
If something fails while the label is clear, use support — not random forum replies.
Configs
Heavy aim settings from last season may feel wrong after movement or weapon tuning patches. Re-test in a private setting before ranked-style play.
